Not a day has passed without me staring at my house in amazement and disbelief that I am a homeowner! And I truly could not have done it without Kathleen. I was a first-time homebuyer and had to deal with buying during the craziness of the pandemic. I didn't have a big budget, being a single person in a very expensive market, but Kathleen was more committed to helping me achieve my life-long dream of buying a home more than she was in the commission. She made herself completely available to show me homes and even after my offers kept getting rejected countless times and having an acceptance fall through, her commitment was unwavering. Kathleen Sims of Re/Max Lifestyles provided exceptional service in getting our house ready for sale and sold. We were moving from a large four bedroom house in Oakland, where we had lived for thirty years, to a senior citizens complex in Pennsylvania, so we needed to downsize possessions as well as prepare the house for sale. Kathleen referred us to a downsizing/moving consultant, a painter, general contractor, cleaning service, and a stager, all of whom did excellent jobs. We moved prior to completion of the work, but Kathleen was there to make sure all the contractors' work was done as required. She kept us apprised of everything and was always available to answer our questions. We received fourteen offers and the house sold significantly over asking price after only one weekend open house. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Kathleen was EXCEPTIONAL with selling my house and the initial purchase years ago. She was and is EXTREMELY attentive and easy to contact and speak with. She kept me updated at every step, provided me with options i.e plan B if plan A didn't pan out. Kathleen was very honest, and informative when things needed to be done to help boost the house in preparation for the market sale . She stayed patient and kept pushing. She was a key part in my house selling and getting everything completed in a timely manner . She was extremely thorough with her marketing plan and spot on with pricing. Kathleen Sims is amazing. If you are looking for a hard-working agent who genuinely cares about her clients and is knowledgeable, experienced and thorough, Kathleen is the one. She sold a 3-unit apartment building for me in San Francisco. I live in the Sacramento area, and it was a hassle managing the building living so far away yet alone managing the sale of the building. Fortunately, we had a property management company to assist with the sell. However, this property management company was lacking in many ways to say the least. Kathleen stayed on top of them and managed to pull off the sale of this building in record time with limited assistance from me. In addition, Kathleen and I never met in person. Everything was done by phone, email or text, I am very busy with many other properties to manage. She took so much pressure off my plate by going over and above in every situation. She worked with the San Francisco Building Department on my behalf, she worked with the existing tenants to mitigate issues with the property management company, she stayed on top of the property management company to get repairs done quickly. She was a Godsend. The whole process for me was extremely smooth thanks to Kathleen. I appreciate all her hard work and would call upon her again, and I would recommend her to my friends and family.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Compassion, Expertise, and Relief During a Difficult Time "I recently had the good fortune of working with Kathleen Sims during a very difficult time in my life. After the passing of my brother Dale, I came from Chicago to California to manage his estate, which included a condominium in Oakland and two properties in Palm Springs. I was completely unfamiliar with California’s real estate regulations and overwhelmed by the process. The condominium in Oakland was especially challenging. It was a rental property, and my brother left no tenant information beyond a name. Even the estate attorney’s letter to the tenant went unanswered. Kathleen personally visited the condo to try to make contact, and later tracked down a lead from an address we found on a rent check. Thanks to her persistence, we finally established communication with the tenant. Kathleen guided me through Oakland’s complex landlord-tenant rules and served the appropriate notices. When the tenant’s parents called to explain their daughter’s situation, Kathleen handled the matter with compassion and skill. With my approval, she negotiated favorable terms that avoided an expensive legal battle while allowing the tenant to remain secure in the condo. It was a solution that worked for everyone.
